My name is Jesand Amodo, musically known as "Jehzan." I'm a 20 year old filipina rapper from Honolulu, HI. I graduated with honors from Moanalua High School c/o 2010. I recently completed training for the Hawaii Army National Guard and currently attending Hawaii Pacific University. Unlike most other HI artists, I represent a unique demographic- Im female, Im a lesbian, and Im asian. I've been writing poetry and rapping for about 3 years and have been steadily developing a fan base. Most of my tracks are "smooth" sounds about HI life, experiences growing up in a divorced household, and anything else that inspires me. Right now I'm promoting my most recent mixtape called "Aloha Swag" which is a general compilation of the growth of my music from 2009 to now. I am still very new to the scene and seek to be a solid contributor to Hawaii Hip Hop and hopefully eventually the world. I feel that I am a good role model but also still know how to have fun. I wanna teach kids that the smart kid isnt always the quiet nerdy kid and that you can be a cool popular kid as well as intellectual. I also feel that I have a clear indication of where Im going because I have a solid foundation in knowing where Im from.
