R-U-N was something that was much needed to the Hawaii Hip Hop scene and their timing was impeccable and welcomed with open arms. With their trade mark shirts and ties they bridged the gap between classic and cool with a certain blues-brothers swag that the Hawaii Hip Hop Scene had yet to see. With a nod to old school hip-hop and a salute to the new school, R-U-N pulled from all different influences while consistently staying true to the music and culture that started a movement over 30 years ago. Since the origin of the band, they were known for purposely going against the grain and leaving the audience to answer the question: Are-You-In? This is a collective EP of their material with 3 special UNRELEASED tracks included. R-U-N is said to have influenced many of the new bands to hit the hip hop scene and are still considered one of the most versatile and unorthodox examples of what a live band can offer the Hip Hop scene in Hawaii.
